Deadline: various dates
PCORI’s Board of Governors approved $20 million in funding for four new patient-centered comparative clinical effectiveness research (CER) studies at its meeting yesterday. These funds will support projects on a range of conditions including hepatitis C treatment, breast cancer screening methods, optimal timing and frequency of physical therapy for children with cerebral palsy, and a PCORnet project on stress relief strategies.
The Board also approved development of three new funding announcements. We will offer up to $30 million for projects investigating the effectiveness of strategies to prevent unsafe opioid prescribing in primary care.
