a picture of MMRF researcher Dr. Arthur NeyArthur Ney, MD, is a member of the general surgery and renal transplantation and vascular access divisions at Hennepin County Medical Center (HCMC). He graduated from the University of Minnesota Medical School and completed his residency training in surgery at HCMC in Minneapolis. He also practices at the Abbott Northwestern transplant clinic.


The Hennepin County Medical Center Burn Center provides intensive, acute, and rehabilitative care to children and adults from Minnesota and surrounding states who have sustained burn injuries and other complex wounds, including frostbite, necrotizing soft tissue infections, Stevens-Johnson Syndrome, Toxic Epidermal Necrolysis, pressure wounds, and inhalation injuries.

The Burn Center staff is dedicated to educating the community and other health care providers about burn prevention and treatment. They visit local schools and organizations and appear on TV, radio, and print articles.
